First No alcohol Day is celebrated in nepal on a 2254th birth day of lord Gauttam buddha.
ARV Nepal Organized rally, candaling program, mandala program, drawing commpition..
Cwin nepal n;' diffrent organization celebrated this day doing diffrent programs.
As we summit a national first draft of alcohol policy as we mention + as we request n' support to internationalize as A day of lord Buddha born to the "WORLD NO ALCOHOL DAY" to secrectory of GAPA in nepal visit.
we need more and more support from diffrent contriesto celebrate second no alcohal day as a world no alcohol day. so, TalkingITgoble helps me to get support for this...

“Alcohol” is an oldest form of drug. Alcoholism is not a new problem for Nepal. We all know that alcohol is socially accepted almost all over Nepal. In Nepal generally alcohol is used by from young to middle age. High to low label societies peoples are using alcohol. As a tradition, in festivals we used alcohol mostly. In Nepal from rupee five (local) we get alcohol in shops. There are no any criteria in alcohol even 5 years old child go to the shop and buy the alcohol. We all know that alcohol is not good for our health but we used it. Alcohol creates many problems in life, such as health problems, family problems, social problems, financial problems and many others too. There are many organizations working for controlling the drugs. But there are only few organizations working for the alcoholism disease.

There are many peoples in Nepal who did not want used use alcohol but they can’t. They try to stop drinking for few days or month but later back to same in alcohol. As a week law of Nepal, alcoholism is creating more and more problems, most of the road accident by alcohol drinking .Rapes cases, prostitution, damage of brain, damage of kidney, liver problems etc. All over Nepal to spread awareness and Alcohol controlling programs, rally of awareness in alcoholism disease, Gathering of all recovering alcoholic in Nepal in one place. Service / Counseling for those who want to stop drinking alcohol. Help in Rehabilitation & detoxification, in other district (out of Katmandu) also help to start alcoholic network. For these our voice is united and we formed Alcoholic Recovering Voice Nepal in short ARV Nepal.

ARV Nepal is non- profit, non government organization located in 158/37 ka bhimsenthan, Paropakar Marg, Kathmandu, with the main aim aware people about alcoholism disease and advocacy in alcoholism act law about Nepal. As a law, rules and regulations of government “Alcoholic Recovering Voice Nepal” registered in Nepal Government Home Ministry, Social Welfare Council (SWC) and certificate of membership of Recovering Nepal, National network of drug users in Nepal. We have to be very active and go hand in hand and the main thing is to educate and make the people aware, and we have to help those who are suffering. So we need support from all side and we are able to achieve our goal.
